The problem

myGP Clinic are a private GP group with three clinics across Manchester and Cheshire. People do not arrive at a site like this looking for “a private GP”. They arrive carrying one specific worry, about a knee, a menopause symptom, an ADHD assessment, a child who keeps getting ill, and they want to know whether this place deals with that, where it is, and who they would be seeing.

So the site has three jobs at once. Answer a very specific question, get somebody to the right clinic, and introduce the individual clinician, because in private healthcare people are choosing a person as much as a practice.

The build

WordPress on GeneratePress with a bespoke child theme, running to eighty six pages.

The bulk of that is the condition and service catalogue, each one a landing point for a different worry, alongside three clinic pages, nine clinician profiles and a careers section with its own post type for open roles.

A site that size only works if the shape is decided once and repeated. Every condition page, every clinician, every clinic follows the same structure, which is what keeps it addable to rather than a pile of one offs nobody wants to touch.
