Shopify web design

Shopify web design in Liverpool

Custom Shopify stores for Liverpool and North West brands. Fast, easy to run day to day, and designed and built by one developer with a fixed price in writing.

The problem

Most stores start on a theme and stay there

A bought theme is fine to begin with. Then the apps pile up, the pages slow down, and every small change seems to need a developer.

By then the store is working against you rather than for you.

This is a store designed around how you actually sell, with custom sections you can edit yourself and only the apps you need.

A written scope and fixed price before anything is built, a staging store from week one, and everything handed over in your name.

What I do here

What a Shopify build actually includes

A fixed price, in writing

Before anything is built. If the scope changes you see the new number before I start it, not on the invoice.

A custom theme, not a reskin

Designed from a blank page and built as a proper Shopify theme, so it stays quick as the catalogue grows.

Built to be edited

Every section is editable in the Shopify theme editor. Products, banners and pages without touching code.

Handed over properly

Store, apps and domain in your name, plus a walkthrough of the day to day jobs.

Being found matters too

A store only sells if people can find it. The same search work behind this result goes into every Shopify build.

Common questions

Answered plainly

Shopify or WordPress, which should I use?
Do you build Shopify stores outside Liverpool?
Can I edit the site myself afterwards?

Yes, and it is built that way on purpose.

Every bit of copy, every image and every section is a field in the admin, not something buried in code. You get a walkthrough of the parts you will actually touch at handover.

What you will not get is a page builder, because those are what make a site slow and impossible to change properly two years later.

What does a small business site actually cost?

From £2,500 for a bespoke build, and the number depends on how many different kinds of page it needs rather than how many pages there are.

Ten pages that are all the same shape is a small job. Four pages that are all different is a bigger one.

You get a fixed price in writing before anything is built, and if the scope changes you see the new number before I start, not on the invoice.

How long does a build take?

Four to eight weeks for most small business sites, and the thing that decides it is usually content rather than code.

If your copy and photography are ready it moves quickly. If they are not, that is the bit that takes the time, and I would rather say so at the start than let it drift.

You see it on a staging link from the first week either way.
